During the International Construction Project Management Association Annual Conference 2019 (ICPMA 2019) held at The Olympic Museum Lausanne in Switzerland on June 13, 2019, Meiho Facility Works was honored with the Alliance 2019 Full Award, the ICPMA's most prestigious award, in recognition of one of our projects.
The ICPMA is a nonprofit organization primarily comprising project management (PM) and construction management (CM) organizations, academic professionals, and similar parties in the United States, South America, Australia, the Middle East, Asia and elsewhere. During the Annual Conference held in June, the ICPMA selects outstanding case examples from among PM and CM projects and communicates these successful efforts to the wider world through presentations by project leaders.
Meiho received the Highest Excellent Award in 2018 Annual Commendation of CM Excellence by Construction Management Association of Japan for Construction Management services provided to support the client’s PMO during the FY 2017 LEGOLAND Japan New Construction Project. Later, the company earned the Award of Excellence (the highest honor) at a global CM contest in South Korea in March 2019, and then went on to receive the top award at the global-level competition. Meiho is the second company from Japan to receive ICPMA's Alliance Full Award, following the Toyota Research and Development Centre construction project in Jiangsu Province, China in 2016.
The president of ICMPA commented at the award ceremony that, "Meiho's systematic management approach backed up with digital technology has taken the project into a completely different level. Meiho is a world leader in project management and project delivery."

LEGOLAND Japan New Construction Project
Meiho provided construction project management services as a global company’s local partner to support client’s PMO (Project Management Office). This was the first LEGOLAND in Japan and the 8th in worldwide.
