Project Outline

  • The Tokyo Station Hotel fully opened with a new interior accompanying the preservation and restoration construction of the red brick station building of the JR Tokyo Station. The number of guest rooms was expanded to 150 rooms from 58 before the remodeling.
  • We were in charge of the FFE (furniture, lighting fixtures, textile, carpet, artwork, etc.), kitchen equipment, planning of the AV equipment in the banquet hall, procurement support and construction monitoring for approximately two and a half years.
  • We also supported the selection of designers for the fitness & spa, directly-managed hotel restaurant (Blanc Rouge), Bar & Cafe Camellia and Bar Oak, and provided design management service, procurement support and construction management service.

  • New brand of hotel Mets based on the key words: Region (= enhance attractiveness of the region), Recycle (= utilize existing building) and Revival (= revitalize the region).
  • First activity of the JR East Japan Group to convert a station building to a hotel.
  • In this project, we broadly supported many tasks other than the renewal construction, including FFE (furniture, carpets, curtains, etc.) and OSE (beds, electrical appliances, etc.) for example.

  • Partial remodeling of the center facility in the ski area. We changed the large roof of the main entrance that is the key point of design, and the interior/exterior to renew the facility thoroughly.
  • We delivered the design (interior/exterior, signs, lighting, landscaping) and also provided the design supervision, procurement support and construction management service to support the successful achievement of the project.

Project Outline

  • External wall renewal construction of the 36 floor Twin Tower Hotel which has passed 19 years since its completion.
  • We took part in the project from the consulting for the construction method, and adopted an "exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS)" where there are still few cases in Japan. We developed the renewal specifications and a temporary construction plan, and provided the procurement support (separated procurement) and construction management.
  • In addition to ensuring the construction quality and completion of the project within the construction period, we also contributed to the realization of drastic cost reductions by adopting this construction method.
